An Ombudsman is appointed at QAZCONTENT JSC to uphold the principles of business ethics and facilitate the effective resolution of social and labour disputes arising within the Company.
By a resolution of the Board of Directors of QAZCONTENT JSC, the role of Ombudsman has been assigned to Corporate Secretary Alina Gulnaz Zholatovna.
The Ombudsman’s role is to advise employees who seek assistance when facing difficult situations in their interactions with senior management involving abuse of authority or breaches of business ethics. The Ombudsman also helps develop mutually acceptable, constructive and practical solutions in compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including confidentiality where necessary.
The Ombudsman does not consider routine labour disputes that must be resolved through the procedures established by law and the Company’s internal rules. The Ombudsman’s activities focus on resolving complex social and labour issues and ensuring that the Company’s employees uphold the principles of business ethics.
The Ombudsman’s work is guided by the principles of independence, neutrality and impartiality, confidentiality, and informality.
Acting as a neutral party, the Ombudsman helps establish and develop corporate values and culture, as well as high standards of professional conduct and business ethics within the Company.
In carrying out their duties, the Ombudsman is guided by the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, labour legislation, the laws and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Company’s internal regulatory documents, and the Regulations on the Ombudsman.
